Harriet Titlow is an animator, producer and illustrator from Norwich, England, based in Suffolk. Her work spans animation, independent film, publishing, artist development and creative education.
Her industry experience includes working on Cartoon Network’s The Amazing World of Gumball, producing BFI-funded animated shorts such as Beware of Trains (Emma Calder), and collaborating with studios, artists and filmmakers across a wide range of projects. More recently, her work has expanded into film programming and early-career artist mentoring through her role as Project Manager at Animate Projects, where she supports commissions and touring programmes for artist animators.
Alongside her screen-based work, Harriet completed an MA in Children’s Book Illustration and Graphic Novels at Middlesex University. Her debut graphic novel, Hattie & Pod, was longlisted for the First Graphic Novel Award in 2023, and she continues to develop illustration and publishing projects alongside her animation industry work.
Harriet also works in higher education, supporting emerging creatives through teaching, workshops and one-to-one guidance. Through her website, she offers mentoring for creatives and independent makers interested in animation, illustration and creative career pathways, supporting them to develop their practice and navigate next steps.
When not drawing, producing or sending emails, she is usually found pottering around in the garden.
